Infrared Target Simulator
The infrared target simulator is one of the core components of the hardware-in-the-loop simulation system for infrared-guided weapons. It converts image data generated by a computer into infrared radiation, which is then projected via an optical system onto the optical entrance pupil of the system under test. This process simulates the infrared scenarios encountered during the system’s operation, enabling the system under test to detect and recognize targets. Consequently, it facilitates testing of the system’s acquisition and tracking capabilities, as well as its anti-interference performance.
