Xi’an Micromach Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2015. Our team has deep roots in the laser industry. We build, produce, and sell ultrafast laser micro-machining equipment. We also offer custom solutions and contract processing services.
We solve tough micro-machining problems with laser tech. Our core strengths include industrial femtosecond lasers, composite beam scanning, spatial light modulation, and adaptive positioning. Thanks to years of experience, we have cracked hard challenges like precision hole-making on complex parts, fine cutting, and high-precision etching. These technologies now serve high-technical industries — aviation, aerospace, electronics, and automotive.
Development History
2015
Xi’an Micromach Technology Co., Ltd. was established, with a commitment to building an internationally leading photonics manufacturing base.
2016-2017
Successfully delivered the first blade film cooling hole manufacturing equipment, and completed the production of the first turbine blade film cooling holes. Xi’an Micromach was awarded the First-Class Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Province.
2018-2019
For the first time, Xi’an Micromach led a national key R&D program, with related achievements selected for the “Large Exhibition for the 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening-up” and the “Innovation Achievements Exhibition for the 70th Anniversary of the Chinese Academy of Sciences”.
2021
Built China’s first industrialization base for femtosecond laser precision manufacturing equipment.
2022
Completed the shareholding system reform and merged with Xi’an CAS Microstar Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd., selected as a China’s National-level Specialized and Sophisticated ‘Little Giant’ Enterprise.
2023
Multiple key models passed stage-based assessments, with some entering mass production.

Xi’an CAS Microstar Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. has a team of over 80 people. More than 25% of them hold a Master’s or a Ph.D. That’s a strong foundation for R&D.
We have taken part in several national and provincial key projects. These include the “Phase-type Liquid Crystal Spatial Light Modulator” project under China’s National Key R&D Program. We also joined the “Optical Integration and Photonics” project under Shaanxi Province’s “Two Chains” Program. This is one of the most important projects in China’s national R&D plan.
In Shaanxi’s “Two Chains” Pioneer Special Project, we led the work on “Performance Enhancement of Ultra-High-Resolution Digital Optical Modulation Devices for Unmasked Lithography.” We also worked on the “Technological Breakthrough in Industrialization of Hundredth of a Second Lasers and Modulators.” This is part of the special project for high-resolution digital optical modulation in unmasked lithography.
So far, we have applied for 92 patents. Of these, 53 are invention patents. A total of 52 patents have been granted. We have also set 3 enterprise standards, and all of them are now public.
